BAD PLACE TO RENT


DAMAGED Video/DVD policy needs to change as we rented a bad movie and when we brought it back in for a refund they told us we had to rent it back out again. We didn't have time to watch as we were leaving town. That is why we go to the store to rent it is because we have time to watch. Obviously, they, hollywood video should refund your money and offer a credit for another moive another time JUST FOR THE INCONVENIENCE for the customer as it ruins their whole plans for the day.

OH, this was at the Tracy, CA store off 11th.

the same thing happened to me at the Santa Clara Hollywood video store. It seems like every time we rent 3 or 4 movies, at least one of them is bad and can't be watched. When we returned Grand Turino this week, we told the clerk that it couldn't be viewed due to damage. He refused to give us a credit and said the only thing he can offer is to let us get the same movie right now. that made our decision very easy. We will NEVER rent from them again. We will use Netflix or pay for Showtime. Goodbye Hollywood video. With policies like that, it's no wonder hardly anyone rents from them any more. My husband saw the clerk put the movie back in the pile to be rented. It showed us how much they value their customers.
